AboutThe Washington DC Metro Area Social Club is a place for anyone and everyone in DC, around DC, with ties to the area, or who might even just be interested in the city or area.
It is a place for discussion and debate over local topics, general socializing, and connection-making. My name is Melissa, I'm 33, I live in Chevy Chase (DC side) and I am your host here, the creator of this club. My ultimate goal is to get at least a good handful of members contributing regularly and to organize meetups for the crew.
This club is pan-racial, pan-religious, pan-sexual, pan-political, and pan-economic. It is for adults only, but beyond that, not restricted to one age group. I will not tolerate any isms of any kind in here, nor will I tolerate flame wars or harassing of other members. I've also got this thing set on non-adult content to make it more accessible, so please keep it relatively clean!
